1. It kills bacteria, which makes it a great tool for cleaning out blisters after they burst and might get infected.
2. It turns your skin orange. Kinda like those self-tanning lotions, except brighter.
3. It smells.
4. It does not poison you, contrary to what the oh-so-wise Mr. Boyle taught in high school chemistry. In fact, my soon-to-be-a-nurse friend told me they use it to sterilize wounds, etc., in the OR.

we used salt with iodine in Ukraine to help and get radiation out of the system after Charnobyl, also they use it for wounds all the time. I was half yellow all my childhood:)
sad that ur not going camping - its going to be a blast - but hey we have a whole spring
