See how a few roses are yellow with red tips? That's a technique called striping the bag. Sadly, about halfway through, my finger with the torn ligaments started hurting and I messed up. The roses gradually became more orange as I reloaded red-striped-yellow icing into the bag. Oops. (I mean, I meant to do that.) I still think it looks pretty though. And devils food + butterscotch filling + fudge buttercream = delicious, fyi.

Here's my cake decorating class final project.
